If you don't believe in it, why and why do you think we should just leave it as it is now? If you do think we have an obligation to change it, how and what changes are you looking at in this matter? What about the world now that you do not like and would want to change, how do you think you can do that? Please share, thank you!

Yes, I believe we do have an obligation to change the world, that is to change it to make it a better place for our kids or for the next generation. I can't think of any change in particular, as longs as it would be a nice place to live and grow old with.

Of course, we all have an obligation to change it since we live in it. The changes we should make first is how we take care of the world...We should clean it well first, before we can make any real difference..because if we have no world, our world is destroyed then what is the use of changes..

Hi there Chiyosan! I believe that we all have an obligation to change the world. The least we can do is to pay it forward, like the movie with that title, we can do act of kindness to other people and somehow, it will find its way back to us. Even without waiting for anything in return, we can be contented with a sense of happiness and fulfillment that helping other people can bring.

I like that. paying it forward. I would make a huge difference and it won't be stopped because as humans, we also have the need, the urge to do good no matter how we try not to show it; or no matter how bad make ourselves become.

I think we should do what we can to make the world a better place, even if it is a minute change. There is so much evil in the world today that those who can do have an obligation to make a change. On the other hand I don't think we should expect everyone to try to make major changes to the world as this is simply implausible and all those conflicting views would create more problems than they solve. It's the little things that matter; reporting a neighbour who committed a crime to prevent someone else from becoming a victim and to do your part to discourage people from committing crime in the first place etc Birdie -

thank you Natasha! :D We all should start on something small, then it will become bigger. I hope we are able to do things from now on and start becoming better people and make the earth a better place. We just need to know that our little efforts can be huge steps towards the change we need. =)

I don't think everyone has an obligation to change the world, but I do believe that those who want something to change about it do have an obligation. I do think I have an obligation to make as much an impact as I can do.

well maybe our obligation comes from the time we realize we have to make out of the things we see; maybe my obligation is different from yours and so to the others. =) thank you for your response

Changing the world is really possible.Actually we have changed it already. We transformed it from a peaceful into a horrible and sad world.Because we have already changed it,it means there is still room for another change which is better. We have to reverse the process. If we made this world horrible because of greed and wars and being materialistic,we should do the contrary to transform this world into a paradise. We should share this world to everyone, plant trees, stop wars, love everyone. It is just easy to revive the world because we also ruined it just easily. If everyone will work, making this world heaven is just like taking a few steps forward.

hi ferbjohn! thank you for your response. I think youare right, we can change it but then if there is only a few who would take the initiative and more people still wants personal gain, i think it is hard to really make things work for the best if there are only a few who is concered... I guess it was easier to destroy things you love, than to restore something that is so broken.
