crime of passion and shopping malls

i just heard from the news that another incident of shooting happened in SM Pampanga. A 13 yr. old teenager apparently shot his male lover in the chest and shot himself afterwards as told by the witnesses. Several days ago, a similar incident has happened at SM North Edsa. A wife was said to be arguing with her husband when she allegedly pulled off a gun and shoot his philandering husband. When she attempted to shoot herself, a guard tried to stop her and she accidentally pulled the trigger which killed the poor guard. According to the news, this is the third incident wherein shooting had taken place inside SM Malls. How come these people manage to get their guns inside? How safe are we when we go inside shopping malls? how stringent should the security should be in checking the things of those going inside the malls? Should we now advocate a gunless society here in the Philippines knowing that a lot of crime happens because guns are too accessible even to those who aren't trained and psychologically responsible to use them?

this is something terrible. I think that malls should have more security and to protect all people. even if you have to check those entering the mall. this is something so nasty and disgusting. nice day!

It is really scary knowing that these things can happen within the premises of shopping malls where i previously think of as secured. Perhaps, the security became a little lax in the inspection of those entering the mall because of the volume of people entering it who are mostly in a hurry. Perhaps the 13 year old was not scrutinized that much by the guards as they during that time perceived the minor as harmless. These three incidents might be seen as statistically insignificant but the terror it does create in the mind of the public who frequents these shopping malls should not be set aside .

Friend to do so. This is something that can be avoided and not so innocent victims. I wonder how can we have people that kill and destroy human life. nice day!
