Advertising with Adword on sites which i didn't own

Hi Mylotter i wan know if any one of you know about the concept of adword. I write a guest post ans get paid throught the adsense hence i wan advertise that specific url so that people came to know about that and if they click on the ad then i might earn. Since that site i didn't own so is it possible to advertise it? Should i do it?
