Help me on Factoidz

When I heard about this Factoidz site, I was really excited to write for it. I sent a sample article and got approved. I then sent my first article. It was rejected for some reason. I don't mind that. But these two developments - applying and the article getting rejected - each took 24 hours apiece. This means within 48 hours these things happened. When the first article was rejected, I submitted a second one on another topic. I mean, I didn't correct the first one. Now, its's more than 36 hours and there is still no response. Why I am getting worried is because, I have heard many negative things about the site since posting my second article. I have read that people did not get responses even for the things they asked through tickets, let alone the responses for the articles. Many people were demoted from staff writers to writers only. Please tell me what should I do?

Thanks for sharing your experiences abhi . This is very frustrating to know that they don't bother to let you know the reason for rejection of your article . Wish you all the best !

Welcome Rollylolly. If you also think the same, then I think I have spoken for many like you and me around. If they point out the actual reason for rejection, it would be so nice. They would get one extra article on the site and the ball would get rolling for the writers too.

Day by day the site becoming strict and really speaking if after such hard work of writing an article, you get rejected you will be definitely disappointed but yes there are people who after getting 2-3articles approved having no problem submitting the next ones.I was though an old writer but quit from the site. All depends upon you ,whether to stick to the site or not.

Hi Shikha, I don't mind the site being strict with their rules. But what I fail to understand is they don't give any specific reason for the article rejection. There are a whole lot of 5 to 6 points mentioned vaguely. That gives no clue as where writers are erring. Secondly, I did not find the 'F1' category in their list. If the category itself does not exist, how can it be my fault. And I don't think, rejecting an article for choosing a wrong category, should make any sense. I personally won't ever advocate such type of a rejection. Anyways, I wanted to stop there even before I began. By the way, they have sent back my second article too. That's nice for me. I was actually waiting for a rejection. I am happy to be back at my good old place instead of getting frustrated there.
