Season 7 certainly starts off with a bang. Surprises indeed. For one, I think everyone would have suspected that Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster) was over as she was stabbed by the notorious Ian Doyle (Timothy V. Murphy) a former Captain in the Provisional Irish Republican Army who used the moniker "Valhalla"; and never made it out of the operating theater in Season 6. All of a sudden, the entire BAU team is at a crossroads as they are questioned by a Senate Committee for their retaliatory actions on the notorious Ian Doyle in the wake of Prentiss' loss. All seems to be lost and the team was on the verge of being disbanded with disgrace until an unexpected familiar face appeared and helped them win their case and keep the team together. Who appeared and save the day? I believe if you had watched the series closely, you would have a guess that is as good as mine. Otherwise, don't miss the premier!
