I'm a college freshman I'm glad my classes are great but they are in the afternoon and my friends enjoy having me around before class so I go hours before my classes start, sometimes I'm alone and while my friends are in class. I made some new friends on campus but I haven't really been around them since I have no clue where to find them. So any suggestions will be gladly appreciated

i remember my freshman years. well, there is always an adjustment period where you have find your ways to many things in the campus, including making friends. don't push yourself too much. get to know as many as clubs and organizations in the campus. your interests in these clubs and organizations must be genuine for you to stay longer and make friends for life. goodluck.

Thanks, I do believe it takes time it is that I'm just bored. I usually walk around campus alone and people already think I'm odd enough because when I get bored I would do anything to keep myself entertained

When I was in college, usually I spent time in campus just to enjoy the good weather, or chitchat with my friends on the bench. That is what I had done mostly in campus. Kind of boring isn't it? There are some activities from time to time I can watch in campus, and like I said, mostly I would like to focus on studying rather than do anything else.

Organizations! That's the best place to find new friends. With that, you get to meet them regularly, and most organizations have rooms assigned to them so you could meet them up there. Aside from orgs, most of the people go to common areas like the lobby, student areas, cafeterias, and the establishments outside the campus. Hope you have a great college experience and meet a lot of friends.

Cafeteria is too packed and there is one lady that calls security everyday because we don't use that area as a place to eat. . . I've joined a biology club but not many people are involved and I did make friends with the group leader I believe. We have other areas as well but they are completely packed I'm planning to make some new friends at a GamerWar my school is holding up on Tuesday so that might be fun. thanks for the input

How nice if I remember my college life. We can meet any fiend with different habit and of course, it can make our friendship more interesting. I always make appointment with them if I can't met them in campus. May be in cafe outside campus or maybe in shopping mall.

When I lived in campus, there were a lot of clubs that you could join and I was a member of a lot of these. I play the piano and was chosen to play in a music group which rehearsed one evening each week and that was really nice to be a part of. There are also chat groups which I liked, as you can debate about every day issues with people who are actually as passionate about them as you are. There was also a gym on my campus and I started to go to it a couple of times a week in an attempt to keep fit. Living on campus was one of the best years of my life so far.

You can always ask them for their contact numbers, right? Or maybe email addresses? Or you cld ask them when they hv no lessons? When I was in uni, I liked to go to the library in the medicine faculty to look at the studious (male) medical students. That was the one thing I enjoyed most.
