Drawing is what i use to relieve stress...

gomer - drawn with #2 on standard copier paper... with a little more patience i could have made him more realistic but i was trying to watch tv and draw at the same time.

Everyone has something to be thankful for, whether they know it or not... I have been thanking God for my ability to make a plain piece of paper in to something to enjoy looking at. This is a picture i doodled while watching Andy Griffith, not the greatest but I enjoyed every minute it took to complete and still enjoy looking at it on my wall... it makes for great conversation and (drawing is a great way to express how one is feeling) i was a little old fashioned in my moments drawing this one. Thanks for letting me ramble and share.

Thats a very good likeness. You have talent. You should develop it if you want. I can't draw. I have always wanted to but just don't have that ability. I don't know what you mean by "old fashioned in my moments."

thanks for your compliments... i invest a few hours a nite in my ability maybe more depending on the projects(s). By the way you, or anyone can draw its just a question of how much do u want to right...? "old fashioned in my moments" i was just speaking in terms of some of the techniques i used in finishing the drawing... like the "rubbing the dark shades with my finger", or what i like to do most is use a Q-tip to blend my light yo dark areas... if you ever have a question concerning drawing in any type medium i would gladly do my best to help you answer them... and thanks again for the constructive comments... try to draw small things to start out till you find you own methods its a great adventure...

I like to doodle but am not anywhere near as good as this one. I love it. I hope you keep doing it and get joy from it, I know I have. Thanks for showing me.

I can't draw but when I'm stressed I like to sit and breath deeply, read a book, or the best one is to have a cuppa tea. It depends on what time I have which one I choose, housework is good as you can put loads of effort into hoovering or banging the iron on the ironing boards plus you are getting something done as well while getting rid of the stress. I also jog on the wiifit plus that is good as you can feel the stress lifting. I'm glad that you like to draw and it helps you.

Cool, you can use drawing as a way to reduce/relieve your stress, it is quite a unique ability you have over there, your talent is well taken and notice now.
