Our school is finally having their first dance, and it's for homecoming. Only problem is, it's NON formal!!! I don't know how to dress for that! I know many of my friends are going in dresses though, but I don't know what to do. Should I go in skinny jeans and high heels or a dress or.. what? any ideas? Help please.. lol

To me, non formal means to go in what you feel comfortable in. If you feel best in a dress then find on that you love. If you are most comfortable in jeans, than that should be your choice. Are you going with a date? If you are it might be good to coordinate so you are not in skinny jeans and he in a shirt/tie...

That is true. And no, I've had some people ask me, but I don't want to be tied down to just one person. I want to be able to run around and have fun :D so idk, maybe I'll just go with one of my girl friends and coordinate a little with them.

That sounds excellent! I would find out what your friends are up to and stay comfortable in whatever you choose, and then, have a blast!

Well i would wear a dress, homecoming means to me to dres sup and look pretty. I would wear a dress that isnt very formal maybe like a summer dress or at ube top dress that isnt very formal but cute at the same time. Wear some flats or a little heel and do your hair and makeup and look pretty. Homecoming only comes around a couple times in your life so enjoy it while you can and dont look back on pictures thinking you were the odd one out. If your friends are wearing a dress then you should as well. ENjoy

Thanks for the advice(: But bad thing is, we have to follow school dress code :/ I hate that. So I think we have to have sleeves and the dress has to come to our knees.

There's no theme... it's our homecoming dance. So we pick whatever we want as long as it's not formal.
