it's literally what the title says. i don't like to clean at all. i know i must clean; i know the house is getting dirty; i know i must move things and clean the parts that are blocked and so on to get all the dust and dirt out. but i just feel too lazy and don't like to do it all. i'd be like, i'll do it next time. the next time, i say that again and again until my husband sees it and blows his top. ehehe am i the only one who is like this and feels this way. what can i do to cure this habit of mine. sigh what do you do, what works for you. please, advice and help would be really appreciated. thanks.

If you don't want to clean right now why not lessen the dirt by keeping your trash in proper place. And id you can afford it,have somebody do the cleaning for you. Now if you want to get rid of that bad habit, do things right now and don't wait for another day!

keeping trash in proper place is one way. but still it keeps getting dirty cos of my laziness. because of my situation right now, i can only dream of having hired help but i'm planning to do that in the near future for sure. cleaning really is not for me. thanks for responding.

My husband finally hired someone to do the heavy cleaning in the bathrooms, living room, and kitchen (like floors, vacuuming, etc. )My mess upstairs is still mine, and I just don't have the energy to do it very often. It would be easy if I had a place for everything so I could put everything in its place, but I can't. That means I have to do a lot of moving of stacks of books, boxes of books, etc. before I can dust or vaccum. Mostly I go around the edges to get the worst of it and any spiders and their webs. I'm thankful my husband was willing to hire the help. I still don't like having to prepare for her to come, and I try to be away while she is here. But I do know someone has to do it. It's all I can do to keep up with meal preparation, kitchen clean-up and dishes, and laundry with the rest of my work day.

you're lucky you at least have hired help to help you out. i wish i had that luck as well. i just don't like moving around heavy things and cleaning and stuff. it's too tiring, but that's life i guess. i hope my husband is agreeable in the near future of the idea of hired help. thanks for responding.

I don't want to leave the wrong impression here. This person we hire is a tenant whose rent is always behind. She comes in for a few hours once every one or two weeks. We hire her, true, but it all comes back as rent. Like a lot of people, we have bills to juggle and have to sometimes carry a credit card balance to meet our obligations.
