Can technologies prevent and can stop strong calamities...:?

Due to the improvement of technologies,typhoons and any other calamities was so strong from now days and years come.Many people and structure affected of this.From now only technologies can warned and can site calamities were it well go and done,but now and can possible technologies stop and prevent calamities? and how,,,,?

Technology can only warn us of natural calamities. It may help us predict its scope so we can prepare ourselves. We cannot stop the destruction but technology can help lessen the destruction by helping us plan and cope with its possible effects.

yes my friend...i was wondering only if that's can happen..but maybe some day and year come will make that because of improvement of our technologies..

They can only warn us and alert us to prepare but it cannot be prevented.I could only study and calculate the phenomenon but won't stop it.
