You found out that your kids are not yours.

What will you do if you found out that you got cuckold'ed by your wife. You found that your kids are not yours. It was proven through DNA testing, you are not the biological father. Your name and signature appears on their birth certificate. Is it allowed in our country to revise the birth certificates in cases like these? Are they still allowed to use your surname? Will you allow them to use your surname?

i'm not a father or a husband yet, but if my wife lied to me about important things like this i would definitely divorce her. I personally cannot hate someone because someone else's fault so i think i will still treat the child as my own child unless the child want a different thing.

Thanks for the reply, you're such a good guy. But if it happened to me, I think differently. I'm gonna have mixed emotions for the kids because on my good side I can still treat them well but seeing them will almost remind me of what their mother did to me. Well, I guess it would take a long time for these kind of emotional wounds to heal.

I am not a guy but if I was and found out my children are actually not mine, I think a divorce may happen.. A wife should not be cheating, and if she did, she should not lie to her husband and say the children are his.

Hello, In our country there is no divorce only annulment. I'm still single. The idea just popped out of my mind. But for me, I definitely would want a revision of the birth certificates if it is allowed.

Hi m4ndr4ke! This will be hard to accept, particularly here in our country where we highly value family and the integrity of manhood. I really don't know what will I do in this situation, but I hope that I will remain calm and still very much in control of myself. I will definitely leave them (though the children have nothing to do with it, but seeing them would only remind me of the infidelity of my wife). Probably this will be a strong evidence to pursue annulment case against her and release me of any legal responsibility to these children. Have a nice day!

It's fine,it's hard to trace any topic that has same content. Just giving you an example so you won't face same problem next time. I might not be able to track down this topic since I don't receive any notification from mylot for a almost a year now (due to some glitch) If ever I cannot response you back it doesn't mean I am angry..it's hard for me to keep scanning back and forth all responses that I ever made for a day. have a good day and enjoy mylot.

Well sorry if I accidentally copied your topic. But I posted it under philippines because I want to know in our country, in our law, if we can revise birth certificates with this kind of cases. different countries have different laws. Because if it happened to me I'm not gonna allow them kids to use my surname. I can still be nice to them if i can. Its just hard to accept the fact that your wife cuckold'ed you and her kids with some other man is using your surname. It seems like a double black-eye to me. Again sorry if you feel offended that i copied your topic. It is unintentional.

I think it is better if you consult with a lawyer since this is a very delicate matter. Chances are you may go through some legal procedures. I just hope that you dont blame the children, or physically/mentally get back at them for the sins of their mother. I know you may get feeling of anger, so its probably better you stay away from them.
