Wow is there such a person who would ask if you love him then tell you to set him free if you do? That would be so mean. Not only will I set him free but I will drive him out of my life! Had you known that he would ask the second one, you could have answered him a big NO without batting an eyelash. But since he has already had said that, I guess I would just say "by all means!" LOL!!!

That is right. We'll kick them out of our life and look for the one who would say "Catch me!" instead of "Set me free." He is not the only fish in the ocean. I am sure he'll get a dose of his own medicine soon and will find out what a bitter pill it actually is.

if the man i truly love would ask me to set him free then i would. though the pain would be so devastating i would still do it because i wouldn't want him to be burdened with my presence in his life. i want him to be forever happy but if his happiness is to be with another person then i will give him his freedom to go and enjoy life with his true love.

I don't believed that letting go/setting someone free is another way of saying/showing we love that person. If ever my love will asks me to set him free...and proven that he doesn't love me anymore. I will grant his wish..not because I love him and I want him to be happy. I am setting him free because I love myself and I need to respect myself. What's the use of loving and keeping someone who doesn't love me at all. this is my views on this matter. have a good day
