Is Travelling to Israel as a Tourist Safe?

I wanted to travel to Israel and discover its wonders but all i'm worried is its safety while travelling on that country. Anyone been in the country that could give me travel experiences? Is it easily to adapt to the climate in this place? Or any kind of adventure you could suggest. Thanks.
