I think this show has leaned more towards country music rather than other genres. I don't really watch American Idol anymore because frankly, I only watched it for the judges reactions. In my opinion I think this show is getting kind of old and needs to be replaced.

You are right there, there are a lot of shows now from dancing to song in all different areas of the world. Someone gets an idea for a program and everyone gets on the bandwagon. The x factor seems to be getting popular in that area I think.

they became famous for following the show, although they did not win. An interesting event.

I like the show but I think it must be tough to get to the broadcast part. We don't see all the people that try out. I know they are looking for talent and also people with good stories or at least those that just need a break. I think some sneak by that are really professionals and would rather see ordinary people that get a chance to show their talent. They do not have to win because it opens doors for them. I think they have to really want it, have a stage presence and show the judges they are willing to do even better next time by working hard and they need to be different. Wasn't it funny those two old guys last year. You knew they wouldn't make it but they were so very much real people. One did a handstand on a chair and the other guy was just silly.
