is this a right time that we should give more importance to agriculture ?

The big corporation will not allow the price of food and water to go down no matter there are more people give more importance to agriculture or not, they will continue to make food and water a very expensive commodity for many people in the future, ended up those who can't afford to pay for them will have to fight and even kill to get them to sustain life.

Welcome to mylot! As you read the discussions on this site, it will become clear that a very large number of people want to work online. Now it just isn't possible for everyone to make their living from the Internet. Yet, no matter how many times we tell them, they still believe the Internet will give them money for doing absolutely nothing. These mindless people never stop to think where their food comes from, or who produces it. Worst of all, these idiots are the so called educated sector of society. I believe that, in each school and college, computers should be completely banned for one year minimum, and that students should study as if there was no electricity, no oil, no vehicles, and no money! It would be like imagining life after a nuclear holocaust. The ultimate "What if" situation. I am sure that when weaned off computers and technology, more students would appreciate and take up agricultural studies.
