We walked in the rain today :-)

For the first time in my life we all walked in the rain (Hubby & our kids) and actually enjoyed it!! It was a light rain. Today was a mixture of heavy rain to light rain, but at the end of this evening I think we're supposed to get 30-40mm of rain altogether, and this afternoon Hubby looked out the window to see a break in the rain, so we all bundled up and got outside for about 20 minutes or so. I tellya, we felt a lot better after that. I think we'll do it more often.

Yes if their is no thunder and or if it is not too heavy I too find it fun to do. How nice that you all enjoyed the time together as a family.

Nothing beats good ol' family time, that's for sure :-) I hope these memories of family time will stay in our kids' minds forever

I used to do alot of things in the rain without a coat or anything on my feet. When I got older, I couldn't and now it's still a little too hard for me. :) I imagine it just felt good because it isn't exactly cold or hot now, just right. :)

I stay in for at least 30 minutes sometimes to keep warm because of joints and pains, it's better than tylenol.

That would be nice if you had a back yard, that's for sure! 
I'd be hopping into the bathtub as soon as I get in to ward off any chills,though.

I love walking in the rain, but only if the temperature is at least in the upper 70's or more..This week we had rain, but it was only in the 60's way too cold to get wet..

Yes, walking in snow is nice, if one had a nice warm home to go to afterwards. Our home isn't heated very well, so I don't like it as much as I used to..

it's nice at times, but usually cold and yuck. i ended up competing in the rain most of saturday afternoon on the horse, so was not really happy about coming home to have to clean everything. but we did have fun ripping up the arena where we were riding.

Good day Masihi,
Walking in the rain is somehow relaxing. However, please do not forget to take the necessary precautions since it will somehow hamper your health. Perhaps take more vitamins and eat a lot of fruits so your health will not be at stake the time you walk that often under the rain.
Stay cool and relax. Have a pleasant walk.

Every time one of us get soaked to our skin, I make sure they're in the bathtub PRONTO! I always like a hot bath after getting soaked anyway to ward off any chills.

We do a lot of things toogether as a family, I think it's important for our kids, to build that bond from an early age :-)

That's nice that you enjoyed walking in the rain. That cools off a lot of the heat, right. I like walking in the rain too, once in a while, when it do not get windy. It is indeed very refreshing and in a way relaxing, if the rain is not that heavy.

Nova Scotia is a very windy and hilly place, so this was a lovely break from the blowing rain we get half the time.

The weather's been acting really strange this year, we hardly had any sunshine up here in Nova Scotia, mostly rainy days, (in summertime) then a bit more sun in the fall, but that affected the blueberry, cranberry, and some fall vegetables - not good :-(

Walking in the rain can be fun, but I have to be in the mood to do it and the temperature has to be right. This last week I was forced to walk a lot on the rain most of the days. It was very cold and plus getting on cold buses with the air blowing was no fun either. I did not have the best shoes either (they were crocs and we won't mention the little holes I found in the bottoms, not to mention how slippery they were). Now I have good boots, a raincoat and I am so ready but I hear there's no rain in the forecast for a while. At least when ti comes again I'll be prepared!

I love walking in the rain! We are a tropical country and when it rains, wow, it pours. When I was younger, I hated bringing an umbrella and so sometimes I'd go home dripping wet! But, those were fun days. I just had to take a hot bath after so I would not get the colds the day after.
