When is the new IPhone coming out??

So i've been waiting to hear when the official day the IPhone 5 will come out and first it was supposed to be sometime in September, now it's October, but who knows, it could really come out in December for all I know! Is anyone else as irratated at this as me? Also, if anyone knows the release date let me know thanks :)
