Kikyo or Kagome?

I started watching Inuyasha way back 2002 but the story isn't much clear to me because I didn't watch every episode. Now I was able to watched the entire series and I want to ask what is your own opinion about lady Kikyo and Kagome. For me I think Kagome loves Inuyasha more compare to Kikyo. But I like Kikyo about her attitude and what i really like is the previous Kikyo, I mean when she was still alive(not resurrected). The resurrected Kikyo is kinda selfish because she steal souls to keep her body alive. What about you?

I am a Kagome fan ... and I still prefer her for Inuyasha! Whether Kikiyo is alive or a walking claypot ... I don't like her. I am sooo relieved when Kagome and Inuyasha ended up together in the Final Act.

Kagome is someone who is good at heart and even with occasional jealousies she is willing to accept Inuyasha's love towards Kikyo.So she is a woman/girl who loves someone for what he is..Who can ignore such a love..
Both Kikyo was little selfish.. I Still believes she shoot Inuyasha with her arrow because of breaking her love and trust not because he just stole it..

I completely agree with you. Kagome loves Inuyasha for who and what he is. She knows he is a half demon and she still loves him despite his potential danger. Kikyo was his first love and she shot him because she thought he betrayed her, but in her resurrected form she continues to betray him at every corner. She tries to steal Kagome's soul, the crystal shards and whatever else. Kagome knows Inuyasha has the potential to betray her, but she still loves him and stands by his side. She could ever hurt him.

Hi Jacruz!
I used to watch Inuyasha before but I was not able to regularly watch it so I am not really familiar with all the events in that anime. Although I know who is Kagome and Kikyo and I know their circumstances involving Inuyasha.
Personally, I think there is no more hope for Inuyasha and Kikyo getting back together. They have hurt each other too much and I think Kikyo has already gone far to the dark side. I think she can't turn her back anymore from the bad things she's doing (getting souls). Inuyasha can end up with Kagome but what will be their future? One has to sacrifice one's life. It's either Kagome lives in Inuyasha's world or Inuyasha lives in Kagome's world which I think will be complicated. I want to say that Inuyasha should not end up with anyone but that would not be satisfying to fans, right?

In the anime and manga it was clear that in the last episode kagome decided to live together with inuyasha in the feudal era, 3 years after kagome first enter the well. About kikyo in the following episodes it was clear the she still love inuyasha. I think its true that inuyasha loves kikyo but he is happy together with kagome.

Hmmm...to be honest I'm not a fan of either Kikyo or Kagome. But if I had to choose between the two I'd go with Kagome over undead Kikyo any day. There's just something disturbing about the resurrected Kikyo to me. Kagome can be annoying at times but I like the fact that she doesn't always act like the damsel in distress. I hate those types of female protagonists.
