what's with lifetime warranty in RAM?

why is it most RAM have a lifetime warranty while other computer parts only have 1-3 years warranty? what's make RAM so different? is it the internal configuration of the chip in RAM?

RAM (Random Access Memory) does not last forever but have lifetime warranty because its avarage lifetime is extremly high and it's really improbable that you use it for more than 5 or 10 years.

Sorry i would say that it's improbable to use for long time due to quickly evolution of informatics technology.

Then why not other computer parts use the same warranty as RAM? other computer parts is also used about 5 -10 years or even less than 5 years... i would consider buy a whole computer from a shop if they give me lifetime warranty.

Primarily because RAM doesn't have moving parts like hard drive and don't overheat like cpu indeed lasts much longer than any other component of your personal computer.
