High blood pressure during pregnancy

Last July, I found out that I have gestational hypertension. The day I found out that I have hypertension, it gave me so much pain on my tummy. I thought I was going to give birth. When they brought me to the hospital my blood pressure was 160 over 100. I was then given medications for high blood. I was advised to have complete bed rest. I didn't follow my doctor's advice. At that time I was afraid that if I stopped working I won't have enough money for our daily expenses. Unfortunately after one month, it took my baby's life. She died while still inside my womb. If only I followed my doctor's advice at that time, my baby would have been a year old by now.

Wow I'm so sorry to hear that. With my third child my blood pressure started to go up too. It was at the end of my pregnancy though. My son was due July 24th and my dr apppointment was on July 27th. They took my pressure and it was high so they had me lay down for a little bit. They took it again and it was still high so they wanted to induce labor. I could go up that afternoon or come back in the morning to start the process. I came up in the morning and they gave me the medicine to start labor and he came out healthy. I hope your next pregnancy goes better.
