every time i comlain the high price of the goods which i want to buy,the shop assistant will say"so ,you got what you paid"or"cheapest is the dearest".usually i was convinced by this kind of words, however, some of the bring-home things are not good such as wireless mouse, useless shampoo and etc. what do you think about this kind of words of "you get what you paid"?

Ridiculous, there is no connection between quality and price in anything that approximates a free market. Many high priced items are old tat all the best urban

Then let me give you a counter factual example. Land Rover's top of the range model the Range Rover cost less to build than their utility vehicle the Defender, yet the former costs around twice as much. all the best urban

I think the use of these type of sentences is only fine for the shopkeeper. Because they have to sell both, the best and the worse..!lolz... Enjoy shopping!!

I tend to notice for certain items, the cheaper they are the faster they wear out, but that's only for certain items, otherwise I try not to buy things that are too expensive.

i think this is the reason why we have to choose wisely what things we are buying and to judge if the quality is the best.
