I watched TRON : Legacy in HD . I liked the movie, i am going to watch the 1982 version of it. Heard that it was an awesome movie at that time.
I actually liked the Hero :Jeff Bridges in both the versions.
About the latest version I felt its visually a feast, but a leisurely script leads to a muddled climax.

I watched tron along with my two sons, too. It is an immensely entertaining movie, i agree with you on this observation.
Too bad that my memory of these things are always much too short. So I cannot discuss on high the story goes with you. This is the reason why I watch movies always on highly selective mode. I only watch those which my children recommend to be highly enjoyable or with good substance.
