What do you prefer buying-a LED tv or HD tv??

According to me there is not much difference with respect to picture quality, only difference is the price. I only heard that the power consumption in HD tv is much lower than LED tv. So what do you prefer buying and why?

Wow I'm feel honour to be the first answering this post. Unfortunately I never heard of HD TV and thanks for bring this info so now I know there's a latest TV other than LED. Cuz before this the prime one that I know aside from LCD to Plasma. So now there's HD. So I guess HD is the better than LED plus it's consume lower energy.

High definition television are new type of television that comes with very good quality of pictures on the television. The good thing about LED is that it takes less power for its working.

I do not have LED TV or HD TV. I plan to buy one of them in the future. I have ordinary television. I heard that High definition television are very good at clarity and has lots of other features. I hope to buy one of them so that I can watch television channels in high definition.

I hope the price of LED TV comes down so that every one can afford it. I really hope they bring a standardized TV as LED TV and HD TV.
