Wikinut Vs Triond

I wanted to start this discussion for a comparison and to know your opinions.I am a newbie both at Triond and Wikinut. My stats at both these sites goes as below: From 212 page views at Wikinut for my two articles (Triond ones that I republished) I have earned £0.006 while with around 300 views of my Triond articles (I have published 8 articles and 1 photo) I have earned 40 cents. Now the thing is that my earnings at Triond is okay since I promoted my articles through Facebook and no matter whether my friends had a look at it or not I posted the links on their wall.I also took the advice of other Mylotters and commented on some of the articles written by other Triond members. As was told many of them got back to my articles and were kind enough to leave a comment. Not that everyone does that though.Anyway this is my story with Triond so far and I am not very sure that I will be able to reach the minimum payout, that is,50 cents by the 10th of this month. Now as far as Wikinut goes I have republished only two of my Triond articles there.I admit that even the copy paste process is not as easy as in Triond. There we have to write in what they call "sections' which they show together as one whole post.Nonetheless,I did not worry once I submitted my two articles there and after they got published (You have to mention in your notes to the moderator that you are republishing and mention your username at Triond or elsewhere where you had originally published your article),I noticed that they were getting views without promotion. Not to mention that the earnings are exceedingly low as you can see from the stats. However what I liked is that my articles are getting views without promotion. Though SEO helps for articles that have the right keywords etc it isn't so easy to get your article in the search results so soon. So I would like to ask your experiences with these two sites if you have tried one or the other or both. You may share whatever your opinion is related to these two sites.

I am a Triond writer too and it's really slow to earn when no readership. But I and beingwell thought of putting up a page on facebook called Triond Trends and all Triond writers are allowed to join and link their articles on it provided that you have to like 25 articles before you. That means all your facebook friends will get to see those articles and vice versa. It just started last night and it helped me get a lot of views already! You might want to consider joining. It's really fun! Just please observe the rules!

Hi, Thanks a lot for sharing this valuable tip! I have just one doubt. Did you mean that I have to write at least 25 articles before I can try that feature?

I am a member at triond.com and I am doing good with triond.com. I have now 100 articles. At first, we find it really boring. But we should not give up. Just continue writing. I am not really sure about wikinut.

Hi, Glad to hear your positive words about Triond. If I get to 100 articles some day, will I get automatic views without promotion?Actually sometimes it feels silly sharing links on friends' wall when they do not read most often. That is why I am curious.I know that to get my articles in search engine results I would have to write things that are searched the most on the web. What are the strategies you have been using to earn well from Triond? Is it commenting on others' articles and making a lot of friends who help or is it promotion or is it SEO? Please share.

I think that one of the best things about WikiNut is that you are able to upload all of the articles that you have on other websites, just to get you a little extra income on the side of whatever you're earning from Triond. I will average $2 per day on Triond at the moment, and my WikiNut is nowhere near that amount for the same number of articles published. However, I will still use it, and just class it as a nice surprise when I get a payment every couple of months.

Hi, I would like to thank you for sharing your perspective on this. How many articles have you posted on Triond? You earn a passive income of $2 daily from Triond.Surely that means you have posted several articles.Do you promote them to get views or use any other method?

Hi Oindy, same as you, I have been republishing my content from triond to Wikinut in the past. I have reached payout a few times from Wikinut too. The earning is really miserable, and the webmaster does not want to learn the trick of monetizing properly. I do not like the time consuming publishing process in Wikinut too. For me, page views is not a very important factor, since at the end of the day, the earning is what counts. I do not promote any of my content in Triond or Wikinut. Search engines will do the work.

I would recommend getting a Tumblr blog, my Triond traffic went up when I posted links to my articles there. I haven't posted on Wikinut, but I think I'll just stick with Triond for now since it's working well for me.

I did made my account on triond few months back but not even posted a single article there so. I haven't earned anything from triond. But seeing you guys talking about this I have started writing there from today hope that I get some extra cash and page views. As you people are discussing patience is needed these things. So starting today I will try to be consistent and patient for quite some time until I don't get some good there.
