i grew up with pets around me cause my family is a pet lover. when i was little,i had a dog but it died when i graduated in college. until now, we have 4 dogs with different breedings, my father have his roosters and birds. we have a new pet now, a cat. it's been with us when it's still a kitten, now it weighs 2kg i guess.:) me and my boyfriend also decided to have a dog, so we ask 1 from my aunt. our dog is now 1 yr and is living in my boyfriend's house cause they have better space than my house and his family also likes it to be there. pets do help me relax and unwind.i talk to my dog everytime im with him. it makes me smile whenever he looks me in the eye and try to lick my face.:) how about you, do you have pets?.:)

I don't really have a pet of my own but my partner has a dog. She have had dogs since she graduated and she is a great dog lover. I am a dog lover myself and I hope that one day I'll be able to have a dog of my own. Bernese is my favorite breed and I dream to have a Bernese of my own. For now my dream can't be realized as we live in a small apartment but as soon as we move to the country side, I'll have my Bernen Senenhund.

Oh, but I know a dog can be happy even if it lives in town. My friend's dog must be a happy dog. We take her with us everywhere, she gets lots of exercise - and we exercise with her, too! Ask me if I was ever hiking before meeting this friend of mine. I'll tell you the answer: no! But now we go hiking in the nearby woods every two or three days!

good luck in having your future Bernese. (",) yeah i agree with you, it's better to have your pet in a country side than in a city. cause they need to be unleash ones in a while for them to have a good exercise.(",)

I have one cat in my house. This cat is owned by my neighbor but it always visits in my house begging for food everyday. we feed it from our left overs especially fish bone. We are amazed from it because it ate all the rats in my house. Until we get love by this cat. We also have one dog. This is a replacement from my lost dog who was hit by a car. I remember it was one week ago after it was replaced. Its hard for me to forget my lost dog but as the days passed i have learned to moved on and love this new dog.

sorry for your loss. but yeah, it's better to replace the pet you've lost than not at all cause you will miss it a lot. good thing your cat ate all the rats.:) my cat is different. honestly im afraid of cockcroaches, and fortunately my cat tortures them and kill them.:) whenever i spotted a cockcroach i will just pick my cat my cat and maneuver its head to where the cockcroach is and when it sees it, it automatically grabs the cockcroach.LOL.

i was really surprised with my cat's behavior, i have no idea that cats will also kill cockroaches until my cat proved it to me. cause as we were kids, our parents told us that cats eat rats. LOL. by the way,not just cockcroaches but any kind of insects. i feel pity to lizards though when they will be caught by my cat. sorry,i can't let you borrow him.LOL

I'm happy to hear that your cat kill all the cockroaches but sad to say it is opposite of my cat. I called my cat "Muning". Muning is just so choosy. He don't like cockroaches he loves rats. My problem is i have a lot of cockroaches in my house. I'm afraid of cockroaches too. I always scold by my mother because i give her heart attack whenever i scream when i see cockroach flying over me. We use pesticide to get rid of it but i don't like the smell of the chemical. I wish i could barrow your cat.LOL.

Not really Cats look after themselves - they only need their food putting out and if they are really hungry they will all get their own as they are all great hunters The dogs only need their food putting out snf as they have regulat toilet times they are no hassle apart from when either of the unspeyed girls - Marita & Mandi - come in to heat then Pepe wants to do what comes naturally As we have finished breeding the dogs now they will be speyed soon

I have two dogs. One is a collie and the other is a flat coated retriever cross. The collie competes at agility and she can be very good. Sometime she's just too excited and flies round the courses without really looking where she's going. The retriever cross is elderly but he used to be an excellent agility dog in his youth and carried on right up until he was about eleven. He's fourteen now and still comes along to agility shows with us.
