Kids usually like to eat chicken, hotdog, pork, spaghetti and lots of junk food.Their parents are having a hard time feeding them veggies. What kind of veggies would you like to recommend that kids will love to eat? And what way will you cook the veggies so that they will love them?

My children and grandchildren like veggies, but we buy the real thing. Fresh veggies instead of canned ones. When I went to Aruba por vacations, I bought a can of sorted veggies to eat. I had to throw them away. Fresh veggies, besides having the nutrients our body needs, are good to eat. An omelette of green beans cut frensh stile or another of spinach and cheese are childrenĀ“s favorites. Instead of giving them greasy breaded and fried chicken, I make a good fresh tomato sauce (you can use canned natural tomatoes there)with spaguetti or other pasta. Yuo can grate some carrots in the sauce, fry soome finelly diced onions and add a small quantity of green sweet pepper. Children and grown ups love a good dish. And, have you tried fried grren tomatos, zuchinni and eggplant? Out of this world!!!

I never tried to eat zuchinni, I think I'll try it one of these days. Fresh veggies are really healthier and more delicious to eat.

I also eat raw zuchinni, thinly sliced and marinated for a while with a little bit of vinegar, salt and some olive oil. Then you can add some mayo (not much) and mustard if you wish. YUMMY!!!

i have a recipe that any picky eater will like to eat. this recipe is a big hit in our little eatery. whenever i cooked it ...it sold like hot cakes. the recipe is called vegetarian egg roll. i just stir fry mong bean sprout, carrots, string beans, cabbage, season with salt and pepper then set aside to cool then when cooled i wrap it with eggroll wrapper then deep fry till golden brown and crispy. its absolutely delicious that even the most picky eater will enjoy. they wouldn't even know they are eating vegetables!

Most kids take an automatic liking to non veg foods.I've seen people make the veg food in the form of salads, burgers, cutlets etc. This will make it more palatable to those who prefer non veg food.We have to use imagination to make veg food more likable to those who have a tendency to prefer non veg food.

To be honest I have never had a problem getting my children to eat vegetables they have always loved all vegetables, fruit and salads. Most children will eat peas and sweetcorn, and remember that baked beans are also classed as a vegetable and count towards your 5 a day too!

My 2 yr old loves fruits and vegetables. His favorite veggies are carrots and tomatoes and he will eat them raw, cut up of course. For other types like broccoli and cauliflower, I give him ranch dressing to dip it in and he eats it up. He also loves cooked peas and green beans and sweet potatoes. We call him our vegetarian cuz he would rather eat fruits and veggies than meat. The only way we can get him to eat meat is to cut it up in shapes and call it his chicken triangles or hot dog circles. So that might work for veggies too.

The secret of eating healthy. - Teach your chilren with the example.
I believe in what Sigmong Freud said Tabula rasa is the epistemological theory that individuals are born without built-in mental content and that their knowledge comes from experience and perception. Generally proponents of the tabula rasa thesis favour the "nurture" side of the nature versus nurture debate, when it comes to aspects of one's personality, social and emotional behaviour, and intelligence. For example my son doesn't eats carrots, and chicken because I don't eat them,he eats eggplant, brocoli, and green peas because I eat that and I taught him to eat these with the example,at the same time I don't eat carrots because my mom don't eat it,my son ats onion because his grandma taught him, so the children lean what we taught them by the example, ysterday my niece ate a pure of lamd with carrot I can only imagine how bad eat taste "at least me".

Hi! Me and my brother were raised to eat all sorts of vegetables. I personally can eat any vegetable :),but I do understand that in reality that not everyone likes veggies, especially these kiddos. I suggest that you need to be creative in integrating veggies to their daily meals like mix potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, etc. You can start with fried rice mixed with various vegetables, I also advice that you might consider cutting the veggies into desirable size so that they would be comfortable in eating it. Lastly, don't give up, because I at one point didn't like veggies however I thank my parents for not giving up on us lol... now me and my brother are ripping the benefits of these wonderful healthy foods. Happy lotting!
