So, series 6 has ended and for once I actually applaud Moffat for how it was written. I am not a fan of him, probably never will be, not for full time series at least. He can write separate episodes, but as the head writer I don't like him at all. That is beyond the point though! Now onto the spoilers, STOP READING IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE ENDING. So as everyone here knows, at least I hope you, in the very first episode the Doctor was shot by the mysterious astronaut! Well not really mysterious, I knew who it was since the beginning but thats just because I'm obsessive and study like every line there is in the show practically. Now then, throughout series 6 it was talked about in secret of how the Doctor would die and then he knew himself and would look at the death profile every once in a while. So on the very last episode, everything was beautifully written. The Doctor was able to escape death yet again, as he always manages to do, but not in a way I expected. I didn't think he was going to die, I thought perhaps he sent the flesh in to die or something along the lines of that. Well when River ended up not shooting him like she was suppose to, I couldn't stop laughing at the Doctor. He was acting like such a goofball during it! Anyway, when he 'died' he was in a robot of himself so he was on the lake during the death which time required. Now the Doctor said he was going to hang low and be back in the shadows again, to be with River during her nights. How long do you think he's actually going to go around unnoticed though? What about Amy and Rory, will they join him again? I really hope not, Rory was okay but Amy was an annoying little snob. I'm also wondering if maybe we'll get a new TARDIS look in the next series, after all the TARDIS has 30 versions in her archives and he's only done a dozen or so by now. So what do you guys think? Did you like Series 6? Do you want a new Doctor? Anything you would change? There are so many ways to look at this series, I would love to hear your opinions on it.

I guess they/he wrapped everything up okay but I'm NOT happy with River being Melody Pond. For some reason, I think it makes her ...to steal from Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, it took away some of her muchness (which, according to spellcheck, is actually a word...hmmm) for me. Although... I still wonder about them altering the fixed point in time by having her kill the robot thingy instead of the real Doctor. A little puzzled on that one. Like... I think about it for a while and it's all okay then I think about it a little more and go back to wait a minute but what about....??? I am interested to see where he takes things in season 7 now that he kind of has to keep Amy and Rory around. The Doctor has never been tied to his companions in such a concrete way before so this is an interesting twist for Moffat to deal with.

I loved the series, I think it has been of one of the strongest yet. The last series with Mat was hit and miss for me but this series has won me over. Excellent writing all round and trying everything together nicely at the end but still leaving us questions and wanting more. Just Brilliant!

I think Moffett is pretty awesome - WAY better than RTD! I think most of the episodes were really good, tho I agree that I kind of thought The Doctor might send in a Flesh version of himself. I also always figured that River killed the Doctor, but never knew how... I loved the suggestion that he was spending the nights with her, after all, she's the closest thing to a non-related Time Lord these days. I think Matt is doing a really good job, and while I am not thrilled with Amy, she sure is better than the endless Rose, who wasn't supposed to be able to come back or the universe would fall apart... what's with THAT? Of course, Tom Baker will always be my favorite Doctor, besides being a VERY nice man. I never cared for Colin's Doctor, but Colin is a sweetheart!
