Embracing Awkwardness Can Be Good? Why?

Hello mylotters, I think one of the barriers to success in any endeavor in life is that people are afraid to feel awkward, They fear those moments between the time they resolve to do something new, and the time they become good at that new skill. Here's a secret: You've got to embrace awkwardness to move through it. I've read from Seth Godin says... "My new favorite word is 'awkward.'...The reason we need to be in search of awkward is that awkward is the barrier between us and excellence, between where we are and the remarkable. If it were easy, everyone would have done it already, and it wouldn't be worth the effort." So stretch yourself today. Do something out of your comfort zone that gets you one step closer to your goal. Remember, awkward is good. Awkward is progress. Awkward is the step between decision to go for it and accomplishment. Anything new worth doing is worth doing poorly or awkwardly at first... ...and THIS is most definitely worth doing... Are you feeling like this or still pushing down your feeling of awkwardly. Do you have something experienced related to this? Appreciate you share to us or discuss to us might be we can help each other.

I always feel awkward dancing because i got no rhythm in my body. I refuse to learn dancing because i am not good at it and i look bad doing a step. But reading this post made me think for a while. So do i want to dance or not? I do love to dance especially with my husband who can do a few steps of cha-cha and tango. So I think I must kick that barrier and rethink about dancing. What do you think my friend?
