Most people have at least graduated highschool while some just took an exam to get a highschool diploma. My cousin was one of them and if I'm not mistaken, Manny Pacquiao did it too, you know. Is there a similar exam that will give you a college diploma/degree here in the Philippines? If so, will it qualify you for the same benefits as a college graduate/degree holder?

None. You have to enroll in college to get a college diploma. Actually, there are two year courses so after that you will have your diploma. But it's only for certain courses.

Two years will be too long for a working father like me so I preferred a one year course or vocational instead. However, these courses seems not to be as equivalent to a real college degree, am I right? Are those two year courses enough for me to apply in a corporate office, I mean not in the call center.

I think to get a college degree is to spend your time in college. Or you have to be successful in a certain career like Manny P. Some universities has given him a doctorate degree because of his contributions to the country. However it doesn't mean that he will get a transcript of records showing his performance at school. What he got was just a certificate. You can spend a year in College and get a diploma. There are colleges that offers short term courses like Seaman, Computer and Nursing Aid. After that you can start looking for a job if there is any.
