Lenovo Cellphone

Lenovo is indeed a great manufacturer of computers. In fact they ranked 3rd, if I am not mistaken. But lately, i heard that Lenovo is venturing another business, which is cellphones. What do you think about this idea of Lenovo?

It's surprising when companies are already heading towards the tablet era and here comes lenovo going after the cellphone market 
. If they do venture into the cellphone business it needs something that it's competitor don't offer yet and i wonder what it would be other than the brand.

From my point of view, the trend would be, there would be no remarkable differences between tablet and big-display smartphones. Although tablet is more convenient than computer, it's not that portable than a big-display smartphone. Also, smartphone is the trend rather than the current widespread feature phones. Lenovo and most Chinese brands already realized this trend and is adjust their strategy to repond.Apple will not keep prosporous and popular for ever.:)

That was not surprised me. I observed computer business will going down due to increasing demand of tablet and smartphone market. So better for computer manufacturers to switch business to mobile gadget. I believe they have much experience especially those who had expertise in notebook or netbook. I think Lenovo will easily change business if they want to.

Lenovo has been manufacturing mobile phones in China since 2002.What makes it to be in the news is it launches cellphone sales in countries like the Philippines,Indonesia and Vietnam as part of their expansion,for the first time.
