There are many online stores which sell vitamin supplemets that promise total cure and disease prevention. Have you ever bought such medications online and have you had any bad experiences? I would like to know your valuable opinion.

Yes, I know there are many online stores, and the prices are quite reasonable. But, I have never bought any vitamin supplements from those online stores. I always buy vitamins and other medicines from the pharmacy here at home. There I get the assurance that the pharmacist has thoroughly checked it is the right medicine.

serioursly asking, why would someone want to buy vitamin supplement online when it is easily available in local medical stores? Also, i dont think there is a need to take vitamin supplements unless you know that you have vitamin deficiency. I too take vitamin supplements occasionally, like becadexamin which contains almost all vitamins and minerals, but i would never buy it online.

dear ravi, I asked this because I wrote a review of a vitamin store online. I wanted to know if people in other countries (not India) bought these medicines. One another thing, my nephew said his gym instructor asked him to drink a protein supplement which cost 2000 Rs. He started it and complained that it was addictive, so we asked him to stop it. I did not want others to face the same problem.

we were also surprised, but dollars converted and postal charges made it costly and the tin was huge but there was somthing wrong about the whole thing. I am glad he discontinued it, and you are right, Indians would never go for online products when we get cheap items here itself.

I like Veg Iron which I buy on-line from America. I have learned not to order more than 4 of them or I get a large customs charge when it arrives. It is sent by air mail and arrives quite quickly. I like Deva Vitamins and buy their multivitamins, Vitamin B12 and Omega. I get it from an on-line shop in my home country. There are 90 pills in each pack for the Deva so they last for 3 months. I eat a vegan diet and wish to be super healthy. I feel these vitamins do me a lot of good. I am thinking of buying a Calcium supplement. After experiencing fraud on my bank account I changed my bank card. I only buy from companies I trust that are on-line. I have been cheated twice by two on-line companies.

dear maxima, do be aware that too many vitamins are also bad for health, so consult your doctor first and do tell others in mylot about the cheating online companies so that all will know.

Dear Sreekutty, I have never brought any such things through online. It is known here in India lots of duplicate medicines are available in market. Moreover such things are intakes that is much to consumed more carefully, if the result is negative I feel it would be a difficult matter. Moreover this part of our health. I feel my self safe to buy it form Medical stores. Moreover through online purchase the other side might be purely unknown.

you are right, paracetamol tablets which are pure duplicats are bought by doctors and sold without any medical ethics. This can happen only in India. Another shocking thing I learned was that the spectacle frames ( I wear glasses for shor sight which costs me about 1500 Rs.)isactually bought for less than 20Rs. by the store owner and sold for high sums. I knew this because my husbands cousin is a representative for a company thatdeals in it.

Yes, I think so For some limited product only. Before you try to buy online read first the label and check if it it is really true, try also to verify if the DFA certify that product as safe to take. I could not give you something informative response because I was not able to try buying food supplements or vitamins online. Stay healthy and safe.
