It's really disturbing to gain so much weight than you should have. In my case, I'm disturbed because my pants is not fit to me anymore, I should buy new one. It's a cost! In my husbands case, he don't want to gain weight because his blood glucose level becomes high too that his family history of diabetes might develop. I have read that being overweight is a major factor for noncommunicable desease such as cardiovascular, diabetes, muscoloskeletal disorder and some cancers. If we love our family, we should live healthy. Eat the right food, regular excercise to prevent obesity.

I'm quite frustrated with my weight. I'm slightly underweight. I'm 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 40kg. I do eat a lot but it think it's in my genes. The problem is i'm the thinnest in our family. I'm also frustrated in getting into a relationship. Guys would say that I'm beautiful would say how much they want me only if i'm a bit bigger..gggrrrr..how frustrating it is. oh how i wish to gain weight. :(

derveni...most people worry about too much weight so it's hard to relate to being too thin. One of my best friends growing up had that problem. When we went out to eat she could only eat a few bites and would be full. The only thing I have heard that helps is the protein suppliments. I have read people are able to gain weight using powder protein with meals. Maybe it could work for you?

I have always been overweight since I was a child, and my Mother told me that it was normal because I was growing up, too. Because of this, it meant that I believed that I was normal, and therefore chose not to really do anything about it which meant that I remained very overweight until I was 20. Now, I have lost five stone in the past twelve months, and I have to say that is the best thing that I have ever done for myself during the course of my life. You should eat less and exercise more. It really is that simple.

I agree. Last year I lost 105 pounds by eating more moderately and watching my proportions! People think they can't lose weight and eat the foods they love, but that's not true! You just need to eat less of the foods you love. For exercise, you are totally right on! I just dance around to my favorite songs, and I don't even realize I'm burning fat and calories! It's a great way to get lost in exercise and lose weight. I love cardio but I can't stand the treadmill or other machines because I get so bored. So dancing is an awesome way to avoid those boring methods and still lose inches!

Obesity is the biggest problem in recent days among the youth. Have a balanced diet in your food. Eat food until your stomach is full. try to have light dinner and finish your dinner as early as possible. Do one hour excercise daily. Drink more water.

Dancing is a good form of exercise to keep fit.You need not depend on exercise alone as you can do any activity that tires you out.You should have some form of activity that keeps you fit.If it is pleasurable like dancing it is even better as you enjoy it.

Well you hate exercise, have you ever tried the breathing exercises as taught by Ramdeb baba of india? These are very simple and it sets ones weight right, means if one is over weight, he loses, if one is underweight he gains.. Thanks for sharing Best of luck. Professor

Good for you, I saw also at tv show that every move we make help us burn a little, for example if you are going to pick up a phone make an effort to stand and answer it, choose a ladder instead of lift and escalator. Small movement like this can help us burn what we eat.
