you are right, it seems almost everyone is affected by the films of the accident, disaster, or about something that will result in our lives. Maybe because we imagine the impact on us...

There are a lot, really but right now, I must say The Book of Eli. Religion and people. It gave me a realization how religion has been and what it should really be. It's a controversial topic, really but in a way, it just keeps you thinking. It is one of the reasons why I really love this movie. It gives you a different outlook in life, your faith, religion etc. :)

3 idiots - One of the greatest movie. The movie that changed my outlook on the world.
I have one movie which actually brought me back from the deep comfort zone where i was asleep. Its an indian movie though, you might not have heard about it. But this is the one which changed my outlook. When i was a kid, i was a crazy dreamer, lots of different things i would do, too much active, playing piano, cricket, collecting stamps, stickers, swimming, painting, very open type and get friendly with people quickly, very much interested in doing scientific experiments, lot of dreams to achieve big things in life. I wanted to be a 3D Animator, Game Designer doing creative animations in movies. Get a good job, earn a lot, help poor and the needy. But somewhere during my college, i lost myself, i was not that interested in doing my engineering though i completed with nice scores and got a job at an MNC, I stopped dreaming about crazy and innovative ideas, stopped thinking creative, i can't blame or give a proper reason. Something happened. I was always bullied during my school time. Friends were there just for fun, no one with a vision like me, all were there to play with me but no one to encourage or support. My dad was one who motivates me at times. Even after all that i went inactive. So I did my engineering just because my dad wanted me to. I got this job just to make my mom happy. After all they brought me up sacrificing so many of their comforts in their life. At job, i used to work like a machine, making my boss happy. After watching 3 idiots, i thought about my childhood, what all i used to dream and all of sudden i felt a pinch, i am still young, just 25, i haven't lost much, i can restart. So from that day my life has changed. I have started thinking creatively and working smartly. This time not just to make my boss happy, but to get the job satisfaction. I am an iPhone developer, started working on game development on the iPhone rather than business apps In One line. I have started living my Life my Way.! All is Well again..

Movies are a wonderful way to reach out to the hearts of the people viewing them. The best part is, different movies connect to people for different reasons, so everyone's experience is unique! There is one movie in particular that sticks out in my mind which was my "eye opening" film. It's called Temple Grandin. I have a very dear friend who has two special needs children...beautiful little girls! In the early days of our friendship, in an attempt to help me understand her oldest girl's Autism better, she loaned me a book on Autism written by an Autistic woman named Temple Grandin. After reading the book, I decided to watch the movie depicting Temple Grandin's life. It's a very real, very touching film on this young girl born back in the time when Autistic children were thought to be mental rejects, unreachable, and lost causes. Most of them were thrown in mental hospitals and heavily medicated. Temple's mother refused to give up on her and raised her as any child should be raised. It shows her life, the struggles she went through, and her journey to becoming one of the most brilliant architectural genius' of her time. She designed most of the cattle holding facilities in the United States. She has written several books, graduated with a Doctorate in animal science, and is a professor at Colorado State University. The movie was not only very informative as far as Autism goes, but really made you understand this woman, and see just how hard the world makes it for people who aren't "normal". It makes you see that EVERYBODY is deserving of the same chances in life, deserves to be treated with respect, and that we shouldn't run from what we don't understand. We should embrace each other and do our best to understand that we are ALL different, yet we are still people and we are ALL good at something. It made me more accepting of myself, and my "weirdness". Plus, it really goes to show...normal is totally OVERRATED!!! I would recommend it to anybody that has ever felt like they didn't fit in, or weren't like everybody else. Being different is a GOOD thing :)

Usually I try not to get influenced by movies since everyone knows that in most cases they're just fiction and nothing else. But no matter how weird it may sound, there is one TV show that didn't change my perspectives of life, but it did make them firmer. It's "Doctor Who". Aside from the fact that I learned a lot of historical facts and learned about many historical figures, it showed me how people can become much better, compassionate, how we can be friends and help each other with no regard to ethnic or religious differences. Although it's made for sci-fi geeks, Doctor Who is a very deep and serious show and I'm glad I know it.

Yes its true, some movie has a power to influence people to change in good or bad way, in perspective thinking. specially those movie have a inspiring story. Even in a short film, that has a story telling about your life, about happening in other country where they can open your mind in a reality of life.

Ya...The movies can totally change your outlook towards yours and others life.. The one film that changed my perspective towards the whole life is Into The Wild.. It may be not one of the best films ever made..BUt it moved my life more thaqn anything.. A graduate of 22 abandoning all his worldly posessions takes a hike and travel to find himself by exploring the world.. The whole idea just inspired me to think about a travel throughout the world in the same way.. And I'm working for it.. The other film will be The ultimate Gift and Fight Club...May be you wont find any change in yourself by these films but these films made my perceptions special... :)

I have seen some movies. I found there are movies which changed my perspective and way of thinking. I usually learn many new things after I have watched those movies. I prefer watching movies based on true story to fictive, the story which was a true can be more fulfilling and exciting to present or watch. We can get directly to the point of what the movie about to convey and can as a tool to make judgment on our life.

There are a lot of movies that has made me think there are true love in the world and there is that one special one made for everyone I don't care if that is true or not but that sure makes me hopeful and just thinking of it makes me happy. And yes there are movies that has made me think I should do what I like in my life and not something coz I am pushed towards it.

One of the movie that influenced me so much is "Patch Adams". This is a comedy drama movie starring Robin Williams. It is a true life story of a doctor who became famous for his unconventional approach to medicine. He is so intelligent in making ways to help people feel happy even in times of their illnesses. His costume in hospital is like a clown which he make himself ridiculous in front of the patient to make them laugh. He gives hope to every patient and making them brave.
