I can bet with you this is just another quackery either from caster oil industry or its salesman. If it is that simple, my frined, i think Jenny Craig and hospital emergency room can shut down for good, parasites live within our body can be eliminated with a cup of caster oil or two daily. hahaha... By the way, if people believe in this, they're always welcome to try it out at home and use the oil for drinking rather than cooking, i have no objection to it, i would love to know whether it is him who is cleansed by caster oil or his stomach get cleanse by the ICU in the hospital. Don't forget to let us know if you find that out later hahaha.....

Hi, my friend, please do keep us posted on the outcome if you so unfortunately decide to test the magical power our wonderful caster oil can provide with your stomach after your lengthy research on the topic, provided you are not keeping us inform from the ICU bed, i am always interested to know the final outcome of this claim. My suggestion is let's allow the salesman has the privilege to do the experiment first before you take it over from him or the caster oil industry. Sometime you need to provide ample opportunity for the industry to prove its claims without the need to hurt yourself first base solely on sales pitch, i hate to see my friend getting harm one way or another due to quakery.

I will prefer to use it for cooking instead of drink it like soda or milk, it just doesn't make any much common sense for me to drink any oil no matter how many wonders it can do to our body. May be you can conduct your interview from the hospital or at least try to do some research beginning from the ICU, you may come to the right conclusion sooner. I am not trying to scare you or anything like that, just a honest personal opinion straight from my mind, hope you don't take it too personal. My thousand apologies to my friend!

Yes, my grandma practiced me to consume Castor oil to clean the intestine, it is very very effective and old method of keeping the inner organs clean, the drawback is if you are not used to it, you will end up in tiredness due to frequent loose motions. Preferably two spoons of Castor Oil must be taken early in the morning, in a empty stomach with black coffee, within one hour the cleaning process will start, after cleaning you will feel very light, consume light food like butter milk or rasam rice.

now the tiredness part does not sound good har har har. you will take the caster oil in an empty stomach? then it will end up you having loose motions? now that is not a good feeling. empty stomach then loose motions. sure that would not feel good. but thank you very much for sharing, thanks a lot also with the response.

To gain something we'll have to loose something, so there is no pain if we walk in and out of the loo for few times.

For your reference and information appended below the extract from sakthi.org Castor Oil Cleansing: Castor oil works like fiber in the food. Drinking castor oil early in the morning induces the gall bladder to pour the bile into the stomach. (Early morning bile flow is heavier than at any other time) and also the stomach and intestines are empty to be cleaned. When hot water is sipped it causes mucus to be secreted which forces movement of bile and castor oil mixture to move down to the intestine. Bile and oil forms detergent (SOAP). A cleaning detergent is basically oil that is bonded to salt. Here castor oil forms a chemical complex with bile salts and forms a cleansing detergent. Sipping water makes a typical "HOT WASH". This really cleans the stomach and intestines and also gets rid of the toxins that come through the bile. Thus this is a powerful way of detoxification. Thanks to Ayurvedic masters who have understood the detoxification process and the physiology of the body so perfectly.

because of my parents religion, i grew up vegitarian. my family committed to an, "eat to live life style". wholistic, herbal, homeopathic, etc. everyone in the family had to cleanse with castor oil at least once a month. it does keep your system healthy of extra toxins (which they say is one of the causes of fatigue, headaches, bad pms, allergies, stress, weight gain).

you do it once a month? how? can you explain it step by step? after drinking, the person who comment earlier says you will have loose movement. so that means going back and forth at the loo? please explain the process on how to drink it. i am quite interested on giving it a go. thanks a lot for the response.

I have head this in my culture done by the elders and given to the kids saying that the colon needs cleansing at least 3 times a year. I personally have not done this as all I can think about is stomach cramping. But the elders in from my country to do swear by it.
