I used to log on to Facebook 20 times a day, but the recent article about Facebook having access to my information even when i am not using it has made me to think about FB. I have practically stopped using it and now i use it once in 2 or 3 days and i don't feel i am missing something. Is there anyone else who has stopped using FB?

I did not stop to access my Facebook because it is in here where I can talk or chat with my families and friends. I love also the games in Facebook. Maybe I will stop my access in Facebook if Facebook itself will be gone.

Well, what the discussion creator mean is that people start less using facebook. It usually happened after a while, when there are no improvement in facebook. It is human destiny to be bored so fast. But it doesn't mean they stop visiting facebook at all, it just mean that it is not as often as before.

I actually still using Facebook but not all the time like the first time Facebook was booming anymore. I access it only one to two times per day to help me getting reminded of my friends birthday. For the information access, i'm aware that Facebook is not a safe place to keep our private and vital information hidden from others. Thats why i didnt put any information that i feel too private and vital for me. Other than that, Facebook still good enough for me.

Well i agree with br3ndy. Most people now using facebook regularly. It might not as much as the first time, but people still do use it. And i agree too about private information. You should never put any private information in social networking site. It is too dangerous.

I still using facebook. I never put any vital private information in my facebook, because i know there is no guarantee that your information will be safe once you post something on the net. Although i am not accessing facebook 20 times a day, but i do still use it every single day.

the problem with facebook is that it started off as really simple and like a few posts here say 'liberating'. Now it's completely changed. It borders on being a privacy liability. It is constantly getting more and more complicated - I mean how many apps and stuff can you add? And people post their ENTIRE lives on facebook! I know so many of my friends who have posted their wedding photos online. I know so many people who every day write exactly what they are thinking and not anything profound or important, just plain and boring things like 'i've just eating a packet of crisps?!' I think it's just too much...

They think Facebook is part of their life, when FB is their only life. Wherever i go people are glued to their phone and changing their status and checking updates.

FB has nearly a billion users. If you think the population of this planet is less than 8 billion then the numbers are very very impressive, don't you think? Why should you be scared of sharing your information with the whole world? Just take care to fill in your information carefully whenever you use the internet, that's all. And in response you should be making the effort to jump into the internet bandwagon and establish your presence on line. You can promote yourself, your products, hobbies... anything at all. Now, this site is not yours but you come here to post and earn a few cents for your effort. A lot of people are thrilled by the fact that they can earn a few dollars by posting here. That is good and maybe the secret of myLot's success. But there are a few downsides to this site like it takes ages to load and that can be frustrating. So, this is the time to explore more about the facebook phenomenon and see how it can benefit you. For instance now this year they have introduced three features in FB. You can start your own personal fan page and that can be used to promote and market your products, services, hobbies etc. The FB can no longer be taken lightly, see how you can utilize its services.

I spend WAY too much time on facebook. I'm trying to break myself of the habit. I spend a lot of time playing the different games. I keep telling myself that with as much time that I spend on facebook I could be doing MyLot or one of the other online jobs that I do and be earning money for sitting on my butt and playing around on the computer! It's hard to break the habit, but I'm working on it.

Before, facebook was the only site I want to visit. Facebook was liberating. It was the first social networking site that contains pretty much everything an average internet surfer wants. Aside from connecting with your friends and families, Facebook has these applications and games you can use and enjoy. I used to play poker on Facebook for like a whole day. But then, I found myLot, clixsense, microworkers, these site where you can earn a few extra bucks. I lost interest in these social networking sites and focused more on these sites that are worth my time.
