How important is "kindness" in your relationship...

Yes, you need to be able to joke around and there is a value to "giving as well as you get" and people are less apt lately to remember manners day-to-day.
But how important is being kind and thoughtful in keeping a relationship with your significant other close?
Or am I just becoming an old fuddy-duddy and should change with the times?

That is very importnat in a relationship! I have been in relationships where there wasn't any. Some men are so clueless about humor! I have a corky personality and if people don't pick up in,something is wrong! Been there! If there is no humor or laughing in a relationship what is the point of having a relationship? It would be very dull and not satisfying!

Kindness is very important.
It's like appreciation, no matter how simple a thing is given to us when we show appreciation we are giving happiness to the giver.
Kindness is same thing and it's not hard to do and show to someone that we love.

I think it is important to have kindness in relationships. I prefer to have kindness, love, give and take and all the positive aspects of a relationships but i guess its not really very ideal ha ha :D \
love and relationships should be balanced. we cannot always be happy... often times it is filled wth pain too and it makes up the love thing! :D

My guy Is a gentleman and in return I'm very polite back to him. We were always polite when we first met so we have kept it going.

There should be equal contribution of kindness and love.If love only is there,people tend to use it for their personal soothing and look out to someone else who joke around for their fun.I have had personal experience in this..Usually people tend to look out for fun most of the times and only at times of support,they look for kindness.

kindness is one of the most important characteristics of every happy and successful relationship. Couples who you see have a successful and fulfilling relationship nurture each other instead of proving each other wrong. Showing compassion is a part of them and it is a positive habit that they have ingrained in their personality.
