Baseball season is too long!

Okay,
I am not a sports hater at all. I love to watch just about anything that is remotely considered sports, but come on, the World Series shouldn't be played when there is snow on the ground! Please, cut the season back, make the players play more double headers, something to get the season back to where it should be. It would be wonderful for the season to end when school starts back up, around the end of August beginning of September.
Anyone else feeling the same way as I?

Baseball season is not too long! It is just enough games for each to play every other team!

I would be fine with it lasting longer! People love baseball and as the wheather changes, the stadiums are still packed. I think they should have to play longer because of the outrageous paychecks they get. Double headers are really hard on your body though. You are looking at more than 10 hours of physical work a day during a double header.

Baseball is one of the greatest sports to watch for many reasons. Also, it is not as taxing on the players physically, outside of the pitchers and catchers, as are other sports such as football, soccer, and basketball. Baseball is more of a mental game. It takes a lot of concentration and reflection. I think the season is currently the right length. Teams have time to learn to work together and can put together a great season even if they start out poorly, this is not true in very many other sports. Also, it is awesome to have a sport to watch for half of the year. There is just something about baseball that truly makes it very fun to watch. In addition, players make a great deal of money, the way the season is set up now, they have a great commitment and really have to earn what they make. This is not as much the case in some other sports. I say keep the season length the same. It is entertaining and gives teams time to work out their kinks and learn to maximize their abilities as a team. Fans also get to be fans for 6 months rather than 2 or 3 which is awesome.
