I am really new to squidoo and have fallen in love with doing articles, it can be so much fun. The question though is how do you get people to come to your lens even if its very well written? With my first lens I had no problem, it was about things you can eat with the new Hep C treatment so I posted it on facebook pages I belong to that are about Hep C. From there people began posting it else where and it grew in popularity, being linked on different forums and even found through google searches. Now I have my second lens, this one is about Batman Arkham City. I am apart of different gaming forums but I don't really know if I should link my lens on them because they all have different rules about what you can and can't link. So I am trying to figure out a new way to get attention to my lens. I can't think of a single thing though.. So what do you guys do to get people to look at your lens? Any tips you can share with a newbie about lens period?

Very good question. I am also new to Squidoo. I have published four lenses and I am proud of three of them. One needs some revamping. I have had some views and likes but not very many. I have had one comment. I have not earned one cent even though I feel I have done a good job. One thing that was suggested to me is to read and comment on other Squidoo lenses. Join the Squidoo Community and Forums. I have tried but with limitted success. Maybe you will do well on Squidoo. Some people do. Did you make any money from your first lens?

I haven't made any money on my first lens, but I was told in order to make you have to get thousands of views, I'm at over 600 so maybe I'll get something eventually haha.

Just had an idea for you. Why don't you make a YouTube video and ask all your friends to critique your work on Squidoo. And then all the random people that are on youtube will find you also.

Making youtube videos about sites and such rarely go well, and youtube has gotten into a habit of deleting many videos about sites. Making a video about an article would not serve as an interesting video and would push people away from my article.
