I'm still very confused on what Smokey the Monster was, but I did miss the final season so I was confused when I watched the finale.

Much of the final season was confusing as it kept jumping between a reality based on what happened when the plane crashed and another reality about what would have happened if the plane didn't crash. Much of the alternate reality did not make sense to me based on the main plot line.

First, i have to say that the "Island" is our planet, and things that happened there, every actions reflects The problems in the real life.
I believe that the monster "smoke" is the evil of this world, he wants to escape from the island, the only place that keep him there, and maybe spread his evilness... that's what i think.
