I have had both good and bad experiences with online dating. When my ex-boyfriend and I broke up and I joined a couple of online dating sites. The first man that I met from a dating site was very different from the person that I expected. In his mails he sounded like a nice person, but when I met him he showed up drunk, bragged about his drunk driving and told me that he usually hit his girlfriends when he was drunk. We did not go on a second date Then I went on another date with a men that I had met online. He was a nice person, it just didn't work out between us. I wasn't attracted to him and he wasn't attracted to me and we only met once. The third date went really well, and we are married today

Yes, we met by accident and we talked online for 5 months, I don't know how many times a day. So he passed the test, he didn't kept pressuring me to go out or to send a picture, I really liked that, that's why he was the only one I gave a chance. Then it was another 2 or 3 months talking by phone I think. By the time I went to a date with him it was almost 1 year after talking to him everyday and he was really a friend, (that I flirted with, lol) and it was great. We dated too. But I think a girl must be careful and give it a loooooooooot of time. A guy will never wait too long or will avoid the girl if it's only that. Like I could talk to him anytime I wanted, he was waiting so I felt loyalty in there and real interest. Actually he became one of the boyfriends I ever had. It's great to know the person before dating. Always. Happy MyLotting, have a wonderful day!

I've had both scenarios happen. I've been on dates where the person is completely different face to face, and it didn't end up working out. I've also been in situations where we met online, hit it off great, and started dating. Actually, that's how I met my current boyfriend.
