On my bill, the dental insurance won't pay for my third cleaning this year, since they only pay twice a year, every six months. Since my dentist told me that I have serious hygiene problem on cleaning my teeth on my own, she would recommend me to come every 3 months, so, it will leave 2 cleaning paid out of my pocket. Financially, I just couldn't do it. So, I might have work hard and force myself to floss regularly and brush my teeth after every meal, that way, it is much economic than go see my dentist every 3 months, and paid $200 extra for that cleaning.

What I knew is it is recommended to visit your dentist every 6 months.Maybe you have some habits that can stain your teeth easily like smoking and tea drinking. If yes, then you have to avoid or minimize this habits. You may also need to use mouthwash after washing for additional hygiene.Chewing gums without added sugar is also a good habit for a healthier teeth.
