Battery getting old

I noticed that if a laptop's battery gets old say 3 years or more it's battery life starts to shorten. Like when I have this new Compaq Presario laptop in 2007 and I usually use the laptop 16-20hours a day normally it's battery could run for 80-100 minutes unplugged. After 3 years it can merely last for less than 30 minutes, worst if I run it on unplug and play a music it'll only play around 5-8 music and battery runs off. Battery really has life and it gets shorter as time passes.

Yes,that's true. When our gadgets get older, their battery life shortens. When I first bought my phone it's battery could last for a week, but now it lasts for only a day. It's bad.:(

That is true and that's really disapppointing because after just a few years you need to buy a new battery again. I hope laptop makers start to do something about this because it's been a complaint by laptop users for years.

that is what my common question before, and that is also my point of concern when buying laptop and cellphones if they sell also a spare battery on it, because after 6 months or 3 years, there is no backup battery available selling on market.... so you have to use your gadgets with an old battery attach to it but operated under the main electric plug....
