I do have a 2-year old kid now and when he was still infant I don't use oil. If his skin is dry I use baby lotion and if it's too dry I change his soap. Better ask your baby's pedia coz they know which is best for your baby.

There are lots of baby oils available in the supermarket today. But normally here in my country, most moms uses johnson's & johnson's brands for their baby because I think most of their baby products are mild and gentle... that is why even adults uses it for their own

Its been a very very long time since I've had a newborn but I do know that to massage the baby with oil is not only good for healty growth but its very good for the skin...if you can get aloe or lavander oil and mix it with your regular baby oil...your baby will be very happy.. the lavander oil is super soothing...good luck with baby!!!!!
