Last October 31 this year, the United Nation released a news that I have read from the newspapers and television that the world already reached its 7th billion population. What a news, big number of population carries many effects, it may be good or bad to some. Good because according to an UN official here in our country, many people means many potentials to make the world a better one. And bad, because the countries under developing countries may have a problem in preventing poverty and many more problems. The responsibility of ensuring better future to this new additional population will be handled by the parents and by the government. What would ou say about this?, any comments about this fact or opinion? "What kind of world ha baby 7 billion been born into? What kind of world to we want for our children in the future?"

yes of course i will kill even if she is my mother or he is my father or he is my brothers and sisters, yes its a survival so you need to kill someone who want to kill you or eat your brain and body, you know some situations like this you must think because if you kill someone maybe it will save more people, yes its difficult to execute your loveones and by your own hands it will break your heart but you need to do it so you will not be infected. :)

On every 10 million people added in our planet one specie become instinct. So I don't think we can still accommodate more. We only realize how destructive man's is if theirs no more trees in the forest. Theirs no more birds that fly in our sky. When theirs no more fishes in the ocean.

the number of people in the world means that we are progressing. we are able to extend our life span, and address the fatal diseases that kill. it also means that we are able to manage somehow our resources to be able to sustain our growth. i think our technology has helped us sustain this growth and progress. however, the world is not progressing equitably. some are faster, some are slower, and some are even falling back. this is the challenge with this huge number of population.

Actually almost 80% of human population live below poverty line. That means 80% of the world population can hardly mean basic needs. So its not progressive. Just compare the violations and crime today vs 50 years ago. 50 years ago you seldom heard that someone get rape. But now every day theirs a news that someone get raped.

Hi knoeho: I don't think that the number of population makes people happier or not. They say that population should is increasing too much and that's the reason why there's so much poverty. Well just some centuries ago there were more diseases, just look out the middle age. Of course, the world should grow up in a rational way but it's more about welfare politics which can guarantees the people that they can live well in a country. ALVARO

I read the discussion on it yesterday great news and shared a baby also. Now India's population increasing day by day because a man married with 39 wives and he has 94 children imagine only one man can marry with lots of wives then what will happen in India... 7 billion population of whole world is more.

Sorry if I sound like harsh but. For me having 39 wives means he don't love them. Its just pure lust if you ask me. Because in love you only need one person. If you love that person so much you don't need more. Because theirs only one in your life. But still having 39 wives. I wonder what is the ranking. I mean if he sleep with one wife every night it will take 38 days before he can sleep again with her. lols.

yes we are proud that in the Philippines they make a one Filipino a symbol of 7 billionth baby, but don't forget that before we made it we Filipino made the 6 billionth baby a symbol of 6 billionth baby is now 12 years old, come to think of it before they made a billion people around the world in times of hundreds and hundreds of years but now only 12 years in the making we made a billion people what the hell? it means the population in this world is so fast unlike before, it is so alarming to us because the poverty will rise again, but what can we say? babies are gifts of GOD so don't complain :). and have a family planning.

This may not be a good news to have such a big population in the world. Since it means there will be a big consumption for the food and resource. As the population keeps growing higher, but the food and resource are limited. So it will be difficult to afford more and more people. I think less people may be better for the earth. And everybody can have enough food and resouce and enjoy the lives. I love China

Too many people is bad because an additional mouth to feed means one more mouth competing for food.

Actually its even more than that. Simply because other countries that has little population census is not counted. So in short we are more than 7 billion already. If you count does third world countries that government are nothing but an official goons. I guess in near future their will be another global catastrophe. Nature has its way to correct itself. Human just too many. I guess. As we know theirs already a constant earthquakes and typhoon and hurricane are getting stronger year by year.
