Thanksgiving will be here in no time......What does your Thanksgiving meal say about ya? What's your favorite side dish? Are ya cooking in or eating out? Are ya inviting the in-laws? Will it be a quiet meal? I have NO clue whether I'm cooking or not. FB has disrupted my family in so many ways, I think we're better off having our Thanksgiving meal on the Jerry Springer Show, this year! Can you relate to that as well?

Hmm, choosing a favorite side dish is hard lol. My family is huge when we all get together and we all bring food for Thanksgiving. Last year, my aunt made this really good sweet potato casserole thing. I normally don't like sweet potatoes but the thing she made a lot of cinnamon and marshmallows. And my cousin made this green side dish that had pineapple, marshmallows, and I think some sort of pistachio pudding mix. I have no idea what this is called but I absolutely love it. I also like cranberries on Thanksgiving. This year, I'll probably spend Thanksgiving by myself. My entire family is going up to Disney but I'll have to work on Black Friday and my store said there's no way for people to take off. So right now, I'm not sure what I'll do :(

I add the same ingredients along with chopped nuts...lol....Good stuff! If ya need me to call off for ya, let me know....would hate to see ya left behind while the entire family is away having fun!...lol

Yes, I love that green stuff, it's so yummy! Unfortunately, working Black Friday is mandatory at my job and there's no way for me to get it off :( Lol looks like I'll be stuck at home by myself while everyone is at Disney

Thanksgiving is a time of tradition and family at our house. All of the family comes together to enjoy good food and each other. There can not be enough turkey or pumpkin pie in this household.

With Thankswgiving I go to family memebers place. I live alone and my apartment is to small to hold my whole family! We do this at Christmas, also! Right now I do not know where Thanksgiving will be held this year. It has not been decided as of yet!I usually go to one of my brothers homes. I like to make pumpkin bread for Thanksgiving and that is always well liked! We have quiet meals. My family is pretty dysfunctional but I don't think we need to be on the Jerry Springer show! LOL!

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays but, sadly, I usually spend it alone. I have almost no family. I have some casual friends and often get an invitation but nothing ever works out for me so as to make a dinner. I have gotten comfortable with being alone. I still celebrate. I live next door to an organics supermarket and buy turkey and trimmings from their prepared foods and take out. This includes a piece of cherry pie. I go all out and eat too much just like everyone else. I watch movies on TV (I am not a sports fan) and spend a lot of time online. I take an evening walk. It has become a very peaceful and relaxing day for me as well as a day of giving thanks. Interestingly, I have just submitted an article to Associated Content about being alone on Thanksgiving.

The two of us here, may be spending Thanksgiving together. I don't think I'll be cooking a big meal for the family this year. As of now, I don't want to deal with the drama, that's been circulating. This will be the first time I'll be cooking for two! He can watch his sports and I'll find something to do. If I were alone, I would deff take advantage of the "quiet" time! Sounds like a perfect day for ya!
