Good afternoon, you guys! The problems regarding to the equality between the sexes exist under the sun all the time! From family to society, some people just give male opportunities in various fields! People who are fimiliar with the chinese history should know that women's position is always pretty low in all ages!Nowadays, not only parents but also grandparents like their male children more than their female children in their family, and they always only give their good things to their sons.In some countryside, some family give their sons opportunity to go to school no matter how exellent their daughter is! And when it comes to equality between the sexes,I am so proud of my family that my parents and grandparents very love my sister and I although my grandparents have some other grandsons! My parents gave us the same opportunity to go to school although they didn't have enough money, but they tried their best to raise us and give us good education! And my grandparents took care of us more carefully while my parents were busy with their work!I also love them very much! I suddenly think of my sister, she is a programma in her company, all programmas in their company could have an opportunity to go abroad every year expect female,so she has no opportunity to go abroad!I don't know why female couldn't go abroad, women in their company are not worse than men!I think it's not equal for the women! I hope it could effct real equality between women and men one day under the sun!^_^ Happy every day and everything will go well!

I am very happy that your parents and grand parents gave you loving care as you grew up. It was wise of them to send you to school. You are be right to be proud of your family for allowing equality between the two genders. I believe that a good education is very important indeed. Though outside your home setting not everyone believes in equality between the genders it would seem which is awful for all Chinese females. In my home country, the United Kingdom, ladies and men are on equal footing in the business world. Although engineering is full of males and very few females. A male nurse might be thought to be a consultant due to his gender. Ladies and men are paid the same here. The pay would depend on experience and qualifications in some cases. If trips abroad were part of the job both females and males would be allowed to go. It is such a terrible shame your sister is not allowed to go overseas just because she is female. She is just as educated as the males. Women are not worse than men. I know with the one child policy families wish for a baby son. Good luck to China.

Maybe some countries have retained their culture about the fact that they wanted male children to have the superior privileges on things and they must continue what their parents has been doing and will inherent all business they have. In our country now even though your a female or male we have the same opportunity to go to school and have the things we want. In terms of work also the equality between sexes must be implemented and both female and males will have the opportunity to excel and to be promoted from their work when they deserves to be. Today lots of female are good and deserves to be equally treated as male because what the male can do, Females can do it also. For your sister just say to him that she must always do her best at work and maybe when the time comes that females can now go abroad to work then maybe she will be choose to have the opportunity. =) I hope someday that females and males will be treated the same way no matter where you will go.

Happy to know that your parents and grand parents gave you and your sister a lot of love, care and guidance. In India there is not difference between a male programmer and a female programmer. In fact in many colleges more women get recruited than men because they are good in academics, score good marks and interviewers like them. Your point is right. Equal opportunity to be given to both male and female employees in any organisation.
