The fight in Libya is over. People are rejoicing about a new dawn. A brutal fight it was. Thousands died. Atrocities committed, on both sides. But may never come to light in our life time. Gaddafi, the long time ruler of Libya was finally ousted and he had to flee. But did he really flee? What do we understand by the term flee? In simple terms, flee would mean to leave in a haste. But in war, flee would mean to run for your life or escape. So, in the Libyan civil war, Gaddafi was ousted. But did he flee? Gadaffi gave several interviews and was seen in the media giving speeches to his supporters in Tripoli. And in all these interviews and speeches, he was always heard saying that he will not leave Libya and he will die in Libya. So, did he flee? He was found in his hometown of Sirte with his loyal troops engaged in war with the rebels. So, did he flee? He was eventually found, dragged out of his hiding place and executed. Did he flee? Sticked to his word, died in Libya. He was a ruthless ruler. But should he be respected for sticking to his word like a true warrior?
