How can I keep my curls to stay curled?

I have naturally straight hair. When I curl my hair on rollers, they will only stay curled for about an hour or so. What is the secret to keep the curls? I don't like using curling irons or hot rollers. I don't want to damage my hair. Any suggestions?

well i wouldnt be very helpful because I have curly hair and I dont know how to keep my curls curly and not frizzy...if you figure anything out let me know!
