why choose a free blog? / myLot

i'm a blogger too, i post any article and now i try to make a traffic, i choose a free blog in blogspot cause i think i'm a newbie around blogging, my plan is anytime if i have know it much, i will change with a not free blog like website. It's my story, what's your story about it? Please share to our forum!!

I use also blogger but recently just bought a domain at 1and1. I cannot stand the monthly of hosting on your own at least on blogger just concentrate on my articles and its quite fine. Getting a good PR also with my new blog.

Hi airkulet! what was the problem in hosting your own blog....just a few minutes back i bought a domain name from namecheap.com and planning to buy a webhosting plan from hostgator. Please share what was the difficulty you encountered. thanks.

I only bought a domain and not the hosting on it. You need a good monthly income on your site if you will host it on hostgator. Because hosting on them means a monthly fee. But If you earn more than enough and that's fine

free blog like blogspot give us some benefit like there's no cost for traffic and webspace, but we cannot access the database.

There maybe reason why we choose free. Because each of us can't afford to buy domain and hosting...

It is ideal for a beginner to choose a free blogging platform in the initial stage and blogspot is the best blogging platform for this purpose. When you gain enough experience in it, you may opt for your own domain.

Its good that you chose blogger but i would suggest you to go for wordpress. Its a very popular blogging platform. I also think that you should host your website on hostgator or bluehost. If you want to have more traffic, submit your blog on social networking sites and other sites like stumbleupon,reddit,digg etc.

Well, I have four blog in blogger and one website where I own a domain. I have many blogs write different stories about online jobs where in my website I write about search engine optimization tips and trick on how to increase traffic on our blog or website and many other things to learn about internet marketing basic

I just started blogging seriously last month and I am still using the free blogspot sub domain. Why? Because right now my main objective is to build library of content and gain followers. I am goin to buy my own domain soon though so my blog address would be easier to remember as well as to look more professional.
