At my work place, they provided free flu shot for everyone. As matter of fact, I wasn't intended to take one, but my co - worker strongly encourage me to do so, and she list all the facts if I don't take one, there is possibility of H1N1 spreading around, or swine flu might coming soon etc...... Finally, I just give in, and "okay, okay, I take one shot with you." I hadn't taken a flu shot for several years in a roll, maybe I thought that I didn't get sick that much, so I won't need it. This time, my arm feel a bit sore after the shot, but I will feel okay after days of recovery. What about you, did you take a flu shot this year?

I haven't got a shot for a long time. i feel sick about it,and it also costs money.so i just keep away from the cold ,stuffs like that, and take good care of myself. technically,i 'm wandering if these "shots" are good for people's health.won't these put a little bad effect on our body? I feel uncertain about that

I have not got a flu shot yet, but I certainly will. I have been getting flu shots every year. I travel a lot in the country and abroad too, to places with severe weather conditions, and it would be necessary to have the flu shot. I would not feel safe otherwise !

I had to have my flu jab done as soon as they were at the drs.I think that there are a lot of people each and every year that do not bother getting a flu jab, yet when they are really ill with the flu they are the first ones to moan.I have to have mine done each year due to ill health and so do my sons, its not a nice thing to have done, but if it saves people ending up in a hospital bed, then they should get a jab done.

I don't like flu shots. We also have free flu shots at work, but when I tried to have them once, I got sick all the more. They said that it's only an initial reaction and will last for maybe a few days. In my case, I think that year I was more sick than in years that I haven't taken the shot. So, I've decided no more flu shots for me.

hi king. I didn't get my flu shot yet...I am so up set with myself. I went to the drs. about 2 weeks ago and totally forgot to get my shot.they normally remind me but of course that didn't happen ..now if I make an appointment to go back and get it, I as gonna have to pay $35.00 for my co pay...so being that I am on medicare I am gonna go to Walgreens and I think I don't have to pay anything...so its off to Walgreens I go... I use to not get the flu shot for years but I had B cancer in 2006 and was advised that I should get it so I have been getting it every year since that time.

Yes Igot mine last June. June is the flu season here in our country. I cost me around 5 USd since it was partly sponsored by the company I work for. What's more interesting is that, our company refunds amount that we and our immediate family members spent for medicine. The receipt I got after having been vaccinated was submitted to our company clinic to facilitate refund. It's really nice to work in big companies that offers great benefits not only to its employees but also to it's employees direct family member.

No I don't have needles, I faint at the thought of them, I just try and stay healthy and stay away from people with colds and such, so I hardly ever even get a cold...
